The total amount of the transaction was approximately US$159 million. This follows the process initiated last June with the Voluntary Exit Notice submitted by Organizaci\u00f3n Corona \u2014a mechanism contemplated in the shareholders\u2019 agreements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this way, Grupo Falabella reaffirms its commitment to Colombia, a strategic market for the development and growth of its various business units. Alejandro Gonz\u00e1lez, CEO of Grupo Falabella, highlighted that \u201cthis acquisition reflects our confidence in Colombia and the importance this market has for our regional strategy. We are fully committed to developing our businesses in the country, strengthening our value proposition, and continuing to build long-term relationships with our customers, employees, and communities.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Grupo Falabella and Organizaci\u00f3n Corona will remain partners in Sodimac Colombia and will continue working together for its growth and sustainability in the Colombian market.
