Located in the heart of downtown Linares, the new store features more than 4,300 square meters of retail and operational space, offering a proposal that integrates the in-store shopping experience with the full product assortment available on Falabella.com.

The opening also includes the incorporation of Pedro Aguirre Cerda School into the Haciendo Escuela (Making School) Program, an initiative that for 57 years has sought to strengthen students’ learning and holistic development throughout the country.

With the participation of regional and local authorities, representatives from trade associations, local institutions, and the media, Falabella officially inaugurated its store in Linares, marking the company’s arrival in one of the most important cities in the Maule Region.

Located at 596 Independencia Street, in the city center and just two blocks from the main square (Plaza de Armas), the new store offers more than 4,300 square meters of retail and operational space. Its launch also includes the creation of 95 jobs, contributing to the economic and commercial growth of Linares.

“We are very pleased to arrive in Linares with a store that allows us to be closer to our customers and become part of the development of a city that is highly relevant to the Maule Region. This project represents a long-term investment and, above all, an opportunity to create jobs and contribute to local economic activity. Bringing our physical and digital offering closer to families in Linares and surrounding areas is something that makes us very proud,” said Tomás Platovsky, General Manager of Falabella.

The store operates under a format focused primarily on apparel and footwear for women, men, and children, along with a selection of categories including technology, audio equipment, personal care, home appliances, fragrances, accessories, underwear, housewares, and home textiles.

In addition to this offering, customers have full access to the assortment available on Falabella.com through the Click & Collect service, which enables online purchases to be picked up directly at the store. This connection between physical and digital channels provides customers with a simpler and more convenient shopping experience.

“When a new store comes to Linares, we are grateful because it creates employment opportunities, encourages investment in our municipality, and therefore helps us grow economically. We deeply appreciate that Falabella has chosen to invest in the heart of our city,” said Mario Meza, Mayor of Linares. He added, “If Falabella succeeds, Linares will succeed as well.”

Falabella’s arrival in the municipality will also be accompanied by a new educational partnership. As part of its commitment to the communities where it operates, the company will add Pedro Aguirre Cerda School in Linares to the Haciendo Escuela Program. The initiative, which has been part of Falabella for 57 years, aims to support the learning and overall development of children through collaborative work with educational communities.

“Being selected by Falabella to join the Haciendo Escuela Program was a tremendous surprise. We believe our students are the greatest beneficiaries of this partnership, as our school needed the pedagogical, technical, and socio-emotional support that the company provides. From our leadership team, teachers, educational assistants, parents, and students, we are extremely grateful,” said Richard Harrison, Principal of Pedro Aguirre Cerda School.

The Linares opening is the second of three new stores planned by Falabella for southern Chile during 2026, following the opening in Angol and ahead of the upcoming launch in Coyhaique. With this new location, the company continues expanding its physical footprint while strengthening its omnichannel strategy, bringing its value proposition closer to customers across different cities throughout the country.

Source: Diario Maule.

Located in the heart of downtown Linares, the new store features more than 4,300 square meters of retail and operational space, offering a proposal that integrates the in-store shopping experience with the full product assortment available on Falabella.com.
