ESG Strategy

Our pillars of action:

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

At Falabella, we are committed to fostering inclusive, respectful, and discrimination-free spaces. Our goal is to ensure that our teams feel a strong sense of belonging, enabling them to be their best selves.

Representation of Diverse Talent

At Falabella, we strive to ensure our teams are diverse from every perspective: nationality, gender, age, education, and culture, among others. We believe that diversity has intrinsic value and better responds to the needs of our customers. The Company does not differentiate between racial or ethnic groups among its employees.

Promotion of cultural openness

At Falabella, we aim to promote cultural openness and create respectful spaces for all individuals, recognizing that our differences make us unique and add value to our great team. To achieve this, it is essential to raise awareness and provide training on various topics of interest and needs of our inclusion groups, as well as on the diversity of personal characteristics.

For each of our inclusion pillars, there are specific networks focused on raising awareness and educating on these topics, driving cultural change.

    Ensure Equal Opportunities

To enable our inclusive culture, it is necessary to review our processes and value statements in order to maintain our best practices over time. Additionally, we need to have foundations and measures in place to protect the integrity and rights of our inclusion groups.

To this end, we have policies and procedures in place to prevent discrimination, harassment, promote inclusion, and comply with the law.

Gender Equity: Our focus has been on increasing female representation in senior and middle management positions, with the goal of reaching 40% female participation at these levels. To achieve this, we promoted initiatives aimed at enhancing women’s visibility, networking opportunities, development, and participation in leadership roles. Women were included in 79% of senior and middle management recruitment processes (excluding specialist roles), and 47% of those processes resulted in the hiring of women, 61% of whom were internal hires.

Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities: We seek to promote the inclusion and participation of persons with disabilities in the workplace while creating an inclusive and accessible experience for both employees and customers, fostering diverse and equitable environments. In 2025, more than 1,100 persons with disabilities were employed across Grupo Falabella.

Sexual Diversity: Our commitment to this pillar is reflected in our participation on the Strategic Committee of Pride Connection Chile, as well as in achieving Category A in the Equidad CL assessment conducted by this organization in partnership with the Human Rights Campaign. This distinction places us among the “Best Companies for LGBTI+ Talent.” In line with this commitment, in 2025 we participated in Fundación Iguales’ fundraising event, La Noche por la Igualdad (The Night for Equality). We strive to create a workplace where every individual can contribute authentically and reach their full potential. In Chile, all employees, regardless of the type of union they choose with their partners, receive the same benefits, including parental leave for same-sex adoptions and marriage-related benefits for civil union agreements.

Generations: During 2025, we incorporated the generational pillar into our corporate diversity strategy, to strengthen the attraction, retention, and experience of our current and future talent. We seek to be a reference organization in intergenerational inclusion, where age diversity enhances innovation, collaboration, and sustainability.
